Senior Associate
Her practice focuses on complex, high-profile litigation, particularly in business and corporate criminal law. She has litigated before criminal and civil courts, superior courts, the Competition Tribunal, and the Constitutional Court. She has also participated in internal corporate investigations.
She served as an associate attorney at Harasic & López (2013-2016) and López, Escobar, Del Río (2016-2017); was a public defender (2017-2019); and an associate attorney at Bofill Escobar Silva Abogados (2020-2025).
She has been recognized by Legal500 as a Rising Star (2023-2024) and a Leading Associate (2025 and 2026) in Dispute Resolution: White Collar Crime.
She participated as an honorary academic secretary on the commission convened by the Ministry of Justice to propose amendments to the Code of Criminal Procedure within the framework of the draft of the new Criminal Code (2018).
Since 2021, she has been an honorary professor at the Faculty of Law of the University of Chile, teaching courses in Criminal Procedure and Oral Litigation in Criminal Proceedings. In addition, since 2022, she has taught in the Diploma Program "Current Issues in Criminal Procedure" at the same university.
Andrea is a lawyer, having graduated with highest honors from the University of Chile (2011), and holds a Master of Laws (LLM) from New York University School of Law (2020). She has also completed a Diploma in Criminal and Criminal Procedure Law at Alberto Hurtado University (2020-2021) and a course on Environmental Crimes under the Law on Economic Crimes at the University of Chile (2024).
