Barbara Yévenes

Senior Associate

Her professional experience focuses on complex, high-profile litigation, particularly related to corporate and business criminal law. She has litigated before criminal and civil courts, superior courts, the Competition Tribunal, and the Constitutional Court. She has also collaborated on various internal corporate investigations.

She served as an associate criminal litigation attorney at Donoso/Bonilla Arenas (2019-2021), was a public defender (2022), and an associate attorney at Bofill Escobar Silva Abogados (2022-2025).

She was recognized by Legal500 as a Leading Associate (2026) in Dispute Resolution: White Collar Crime.

She was part of the editorial team for the book honoring Professor Carlos Künsemüller, “Towards a Liberal Criminal Law” (2021-2022). She collaborated on the Fondecyt project on electoral crimes, directed by Dr. Francisco Fuentes Maldonado (2021-2022); and was a research fellow and assistant at the Center for Criminal Law Studies at the University of Talca (2021-2022).

Bárbara is a lawyer, having graduated from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile (2019), and holds a Master's degree in Criminal Law from the University of Talca and Pompeu Fabra University (2024). In addition, he completed the Diploma in Advanced Procedural Law and Litigation, with a specialization in Criminal Procedural Law (2020) at the Pontifical Catholic University, and took the courses “Crimes against humanity in International Law and in Chilean Law” (2019), “Jurisprudence of the Criminal Chamber of the Supreme Court and Constitutional Court” (2019), “Evidence and Evidentiary Reasoning” (2020), all taught by the University of Chile.
